It appears that some wide angle Leica M lenses
on a Leica M mount will not fit an unmodified
Epic brain

Please note: Fitting a replacement PL
mount to a Canon 5D or 7D will only allow a handful of
PL mount cine lenses to fit such a camera.
To allow most PL mount cine lenses to fit the 5D or
7D, it must be gutted, removing the mirror and other
parts.
Also remember that most medium to short focal length PL mount cine lenses will not fill the
large sensor of the 5D.
These lenses are better suited to the smaller sensor
of the 7D

can have your 5D or 7D's mirror removed by a trained
camera technician for A$350

The cost of the PL replacement mount is
A$450 (+ A$20 air mail postage)
NB: Only a few PL mount zooms and long lenses will fit in a "PL'd" 7D or 550D without removing the mirror and other parts.
A gutted 7D
with a PL mount will fit most PL mount cine lenses
If you want to put this PL mount on a 5D you will need a Canon tech to remove your existing mount as it is more than 4 screws as on the 7D/550D

The Oct19 adapter accepts a number of Oct19 lenses, the Oct19 replacement mount accepts more Oct19 lenses but not all
Unfortunately it is hard to say exactly which OCT19 lenses will fit and wont as the same lens sometimes vary slightly in construction from year to year of manufacture
